I write across television and film. My style lends itself to dramas, thrillers, and stories that poke at the taboos of our society. My writing voice has been described to lie between Steven Knight and Brit Marling.
I trained in script development at the National Film and Television School, and found the wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm there invigorating. Over the past year alone I've been commissioned to write a television pilot set for the States, and had my work reach the final 19% of submissions for the BBC Studios Writers' Academy 2020. I came to screenwriting during my undergraduate years at Warwick, on their small-intake course that included mentorship under industry professionals. I was hooked. I cut my teeth in script work when providing support as a script developer and reporter for companies across the UK and France, including BAFTA Rocliffe, Mammoth Screen, Wild Bunch, and STV. |
